How Rainbow Six Siege bans work

Rainbow Six Siege is published by Ubisoft and protected by BattlEye. Bans are set on the Ubisoft account and can follow anti-cheat detections, player reports or conduct penalties.

Appeals go to Ubisoft Support. For a BattlEye ban, the software on the PC and any other person who used it are decisive; for a conduct penalty, the appeal has to deal with the specific match.

Step by step

How to appeal a Rainbow Six Siege ban

  1. Save the ban notice

The first step is to secure the Rainbow Six Siege ban message as a screenshot and as text, together with the date, the platform and any reference number or ID it shows.

  2. Find the rule it relies on

The notice usually names a rule. That rule shall be looked up in the terms Ubisoft publishes, so that the appeal answers it instead of making a general complaint. Ubisoft terms of service

  3. Collect what supports your side

Useful evidence includes purchase receipts, earlier support replies with ticket numbers and, for a device ban, when the PC or console was acquired and who else used it. A password, however, is never part of the evidence.

  4. Send one clear appeal to Ubisoft Support

The appeal is sent while signed in with the banned account, as a single request that sets out what happened in chronological order, why the rule does not fit and which documents are attached. Official page: ubisoft.com/help (link checked on 26 Oct 2026)

  5. Keep the ticket and follow up with facts

The ticket number and the reply shall be kept. If Ubisoft refuses, a second request makes sense only with new facts or a clearer explanation; repeating the first request adds nothing.

We prepare steps 2 to 4 for you: the appeal text, the rule it answers and where to send it, checked by a person before you get it. Start your Rainbow Six Siege appeal
