How League of Legends bans work
League of Legends is operated by Riot Games. Its penalties range from chat and ranked restrictions to temporary suspensions and permanent bans, and they follow player reports, automated chat detection or the Riot Vanguard anti-cheat.
Appeals and questions about a penalty go to Riot's player support. For behaviour penalties, the chat logs or the reform card Riot provides are the core of the case; an appeal that does not engage with them will hardly change the result.

How to appeal a League of Legends ban

Save the ban notice
The first step is to secure the League of Legends ban message as a screenshot and as text, together with the date, the platform and any reference number or ID it shows.

Find the rule it relies on
The notice usually names a rule. That rule shall be looked up in the terms Riot Games publishes, so that the appeal answers it instead of making a general complaint. Riot Games terms of service

Collect what supports your side
Useful evidence includes purchase receipts, earlier support replies with ticket numbers and, for a device ban, when the PC or console was acquired and who else used it. A password, however, is never part of the evidence.

Send one clear appeal to Riot Games player support for League of Legends

Keep the ticket and follow up with facts
The ticket number and the reply shall be kept. If Riot Games refuses, a second request makes sense only with new facts or a clearer explanation; repeating the first request adds nothing.
