Jagex Hyperion
Hyperion is the server-side anti-cheat and bot-detection layer Jagex operates across RuneScape and Old School RuneScape. Because detection is server-side, Hyperion does not install a client driver; instead it scores session telemetry and account behaviour. Enforcement is concentrated around macroing, real-world trading and account sharing.
Restriction tiers
- Account suspension
Macroing, RWT and bug-abuse actions are typically permanent on the affected account.
- Network restriction
IP-tier mute or block applied to repeat offenders and known proxy ranges.
